When Russell was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma, everything changed.
As treatments began, finding snacks made with ingredients we trusted became unexpectedly difficult.

We wanted something made with real ingredients that still felt soft, satisfying, and comforting.

What started in our kitchen became something bigger.
Julia started making bars from scratch using dates, oats, coconut, grass-fed butter, raw honey, and simple pantry staples. At first, they were just for us.
Then we started sharing them with friends, family, and our local community, and people kept asking for more.

And then, COZY was born.
COZY first started as RJ Naturals, a small homemade snack bar we shared with our local community.
As the brand grew, we knew it needed a name and identity that better reflected what we were really building: real-food comfort, made to live in the fridge.
